This will be the area to see the story of our children's visit to the UK as well as the on-going efforts to raise funds for their trip. Those of us involved in the Sheffield Link of the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline Charity are all volunteers that give up our time (and homes) to support the children of Belarus in having the best time possible when here in the UK.
The story doesn't end with us waving them off at the airport after their 4 week stay...many of use stay in touch with our visitors and their families - some even go out to visit them in Belarus! Often the children become part of your extended family and seeing the long-term impact on their lives from their visit to the UK can be remarkable.
